It's been in the works for months now... Our pastor's wife Trisha LeProhon offered many moons ago to give us a baby shower for Jeanine, but so many things were uncertain with the pregnancy (for example, if Jeanine did have IUGR "they" might have had to C-Section her early) that we didn't want to plan a date before she was born. After Jeanine was born at term happy and healthy in August, we were in the midst of summer, meaning VBS and a very busy season for the people at our church. So we finally decided to just pick a date and have a shower, to which it was so much more fun being able to bring the "baby of honor"! Anyway, here are the pictures from the shower. Trish went above and beyond any shower I've ever been to and it was such a blessing to me! The food was fantastic, and might I say, quite abundant!! There were 2 different kinds of pasta with 2 different kinds of sauces and 2 different meats, oh my! There were also 2 different salads with 2 different dressings, and lots and lots of fruits and desserts. My friend Tracy also made a batch of wonderful cupcakes with cute little babies on top! We played some fun games and opened some beautiful gifts. Thank you to all the ladies who came and blessed us with such wonderful and fun baby items! I can't wait until Jeanine grows into them all, she'll certainly be the best dressed baby for miles around!

It sure is a blessing to have those wonderful others from Church. It looks like you had a great time, and delicious food too! Lucky you, that makes me hungry too!
